Ribs

rack or two of baby back ribs

bottle of your favorite BBQ sauce

Brine mix:

12 oz Dill Pickle juice

12 oz Red Cider Vinegar

4 oz Worchester Sauce

4 oz Lemon Juice

4 oz Liquid Hickory Smoke

Peel the membrane from the bone side of the ribs.  Lay them in a roasting pan.

Mix the ingredients for the brine and pour 1 cup onto the ribs.

Pour the remainder of the brine into a squirt bottle for later

Put the lid on the roasting pan and bake in oven at 325-350 for 1 to 1 1/2 hours

Remove from oven, lay the ribs on grill.  Squirt the brine on ribs and let them cook a few minutes, then turn and squirt.  repeat until the brine is used up.  Then begin brushing thin coats of BBQ.  As with the brine, brush and turn every few minutes.  Repeat as many times as you like.

Tip:  they will be so tender they will fall apart and off of the bone.  To help prevent that cut each rack of ribs in half so they are easier to turn.  Also, take your time during the turn and squirt and turn and brush stages of grilling.  It helps if friends and/or family bring some cold beverage to share during that stage.
